Safety labelling plays an increasingly important role in many industries. It is mainly where products need to be secured against theft, counterfeiting or copying.

Security labels are designed to prevent tampering with the packaging or to enable its traceability and allow easy detection of counterfeits. For this purpose, the packaging is protected by a security label, which is damaged when opened or a pattern (e.g. checkerboard) remains on the base, which destroys the label.

The result is irreversible destruction and a visible mark left on the product with the inscription VOID. It is not possible to peel off and re-stick the label without damaging the adhesive.
